The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed is our multi-purpose nursery building, which we built in 2005. It was funded by DEFRA and South Norfolk District Council and is used for a range of activities. It is a meeting place for community groups, it provides a place to hold lectures and workshops and during nursery opening hours we serve home-made refreshments.

The windows of The Potting Shed afford you three different views. One view out over the Barn Garden, which is especially beautiful in late summer; a second view into our  Red Squirrel enclosure, where you can watch them feeding and a third view into our Boat Billed Heron and South American Lapwing aviary.  It is a interesting and peaceful place to sit and relax, while having a cup of tea and slice of home-made cake.

The building also provides toilet facilities and is fully accessible to disabled visitors.
