The Garden

Many of the perennials that we sell on the nursery can be seen in our Barn Garden. The garden is only open during the months of August and September to walk around free of charge. Although only a small garden, it displays an extensive range of herbaceous perennials, as well as a shade walk where you can appreciate some of our woodland plants.

The garden was first opened in 2007 and is still very much in development with new beds and planting planned  for 2008.  When the garden is not open it can be seen from The Potting Shed windows.

As well as the Barn Garden we also have our gravel display beds and a display bed in our shade tunnel containing many of our rarer species. These can be seen all year round at the nursery, although the shade bed is at it’s best in Spring time. They provide the opportunity to see many of our plants growing in different conditions, as they would in your own garden.

The Naked Gardener

Guy, aka The Naked Gardener, comes to the nursery every Thursday.

He is a qualified Garden Designer and Horticulturist,

and a lot of the hard work done on the garden over 2007 has been thanks to him.
